Farnborough International Air Show 2014

From 14 to 20 July 2014, the UK will host one of the largest events in the aeronautical and aerospace industry, the Farnborough International Air Show.

FIA 2014 will further expand its business opportunities by continuing to develop areas of focus, including space, safety, unmanned systems and the most recently introduced the Innovation Zone.

Some facts about the event:
- US $ 72 billion of confirmed orders and commitments
- 758 aircraft, engines and other peripheral product orders
- 107,000 trade visitors, over five days
- 100% hall space and 98% of chalet units sold covering 126,933 sq m
- 28% new exhibitors
- 55% international exhibitors
- 70 military delegations from 46 countries
- 13 civilian delegations from 10 countries
- 153 aircraft attended the static and flying exhibits
- 1,690 international media representatives were accredited 61 international TV crews covered the show from the Farnborough site
